Little Red

Little Red was a 1997 Rover 200 vi. My original plan had been to buy a Rover 214 but the car I bought turned out to be a complete shed and so I was desperate for a replacement.

I bought the car from a dealers in the Forest of Dean in February of 2007 with less than two months to the start of the racing season. Over these two months I converted it from a road car by stripping the interior, fitting a race seat, seat belts, fire extinguisher and electrical cutouts. A roll cage was fitted by Caged of Frome. The glass sun roof was replaced by a steel sheet and it was ready to race.
